My name is Daniele and I love Edgar Allan Poe. I live in Italy and I work on various fields: cartoons, graphics, writing, web design.
I love reading and I have over a thousand books. I like american literature from XIX century: Poe, Lovecraft, Stevenson, Twain, London and others, but I read also italian literature and tales and essays from other countries.

About Poe…
Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19, 1909, in Boston, Massachusetts, from Elizabeth Arnold Hopkins and David Poe.
He had a very troubled life: he lost his parents, his wife, his brother; he lived in England and in several american cities.
He invented the modern detective story writing The murders of the Rue Morgue.
He wrote a poem that became famous in all of the world: The Raven, and its verse Nevermore echoes almost from mouth to mouth.
He died before his time and misteriously on October 7, 1849, at the age of 40.
But, with all his works, he is still living.
